Meet Johnny
Chief People Whisperer
About Me
I launched my professional career with General Mills in Chicago before transitioning to Procter & Gamble two years later. As a Team Manager in warehouse and shipping, I quickly honed in on the essential skills required to lead a team in a physically demanding work environment.
My growth and development continued as I encountered different business and people challenges in various roles. Along the way, it became evident that my innate strengths lay in discernment and empowering others, propelling me into positions involving sales and external customers.
Helping others thrive through workplace challenges became my driving force and led me to my passion and career in Human Resources. I contributed to enhanced retention rates and promotions, particularly among marginalized groups, leaving a lasting imprint at P&G.
This passion extended into many HR roles within state government, where I spent a decade fostering improved hiring processes, resolving critical ER issues, driving organizational development, and optimizing team effectiveness. Leveraging my experiences in Fortune 50 companies like P&G and state government agencies including the Department of Public Safety and the Department of Community Supervision, I am committed to transforming positive workplace experiences and empowering success.
